Day 1: Arrival & Into the Jungle
- Travel from Kathmandu or Pokhara (5–6 hours by road)
- Welcome orientation at Hotel Crown Himalayas
- Lunch at the resort followed by equipment check and jungle briefing
- Jeep transfer to the jungle campsite followed by a forest trek to the campsite clearing
- Camp setup with your guides in a clearing surrounded by ancient sal forest
- Campfire dinner prepared by guides — dal bhat, jungle vegetables, freshly made chapati
- Night sounds: cicadas, owls, distant deer alarm calls, and the vast quiet of the forest
Day 2: Rapti River Canoe & Ghatgain Village
- Wake at dawn to birdsong and jungle mist
- Morning canoe ride on the Rapti River with packed breakfast — spot crocodiles, river kingfishers, and wading birds in the early light
- Journey downstream to Ghatgain Village — a traditional riverside community rarely visited by tourists
- Interact with local families; observe traditional fishing techniques, farming practices, and daily village life
- Lunch prepared with local family — authentic Terai cuisine using fresh, locally grown ingredients
- Overnight village homestay — sleep in a traditional Tharu household and experience genuine rural Nepal
Day 3: Holy Sites, Jeep Safari & Cultural Evening
